Teletherapy

167516114Therapy is not always easily accessible.

Even though you might like to participate in therapy, it is not always convenient for many reasons.

Driving to and from work while maintaining a household and dealing with children doesn’t leave much time for a scheduled appointment at a therapist’s office.

Other obligations at home (sick parent or spouse) make it impossible to leave home to meet with your therapist.

You may not want to sit in a waiting room with other people while you wait for your scheduled appointment.

Teletherapy may be the answer.

My therapy sessions meet over the Internet, and although I live in Nashville, TN, we can meet anywhere in Tennessee or Kentucky where there is access to the Internet.

There are many benefits to doing teletherapy. You don’t have to travel to an office to see me. Even if you don’t have access to transportation, we can still meet online.

If you have trouble leaving your house due to anxiety or physical limitations, this therapy suits you. Teletherapy is extremely helpful for those with difficulty taking off work or childcare issues.

One of the essential facts about teletherapy is that we meet at your convenience and where you want to meet, including your car, home, or any other private space.

Studies have shown teletherapy to be just as effective as in-person therapy. Our online site is safe and HIPPA compliant.

All you will need is a device (computer, laptop, smartphone, etc.) that allows for an Internet connection and visual access. I recommend that you find a quiet and private space free from interruption.

Our sessions are for 55 minutes, and we can schedule sessions into your busy workday or evenings. Once we plan a meeting time, you will receive an invite for our online meeting. Once you click the meeting, we will start our session.

Don’t let inconveniences keep you from the therapy you need. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
